WasHere（”本应用”）是一款户外轨迹记录应用。我们的原则很简单：你的轨迹属于你，我们不需要、也不会去收集它。

本应用使用定位来显示你的当前位置并记录运动轨迹。你点击”开始”并确认后才会开始记录，点击”结束”后停止。
为了在锁屏、接电话或切换应用时继续记录，本应用会在你开始记录后使用后台定位。
轨迹、时间、距离、海拔等记录默认只保存在这台 iPhone 上。
如果你在”设置与备份”中打开 iCloud 同步，记录会保存到你自己的 iCloud 云盘，并在登录同一 Apple 账号的设备间同步。这些数据由 Apple 按其条款处理，开发者无法访问。这些文件也会显示在”文件”App 的 iCloud 云盘中，你可以自行查看、备份或删除。

为了提供地图和天气，本应用需要联网请求以下服务。这些请求由你的设备直接发出，不经过我们：

天气（Open-Meteo，open-meteo.com）：查询天气时会发送你当前位置四舍五入到约 1 公里精度的经纬度。请求不包含账号、设备标识或轨迹。Open-Meteo 作为服务提供方可能看到你的 IP 地址，处理方式见其隐私说明。
地图（Mapbox，mapbox.com）：显示地图时，设备会向 Mapbox 请求你正在查看区域的地图图块。Mapbox 可能按其隐私政策收集地图使用相关的信息（例如 IP 地址、设备型号和系统版本、应用标识），详见 https://www.mapbox.com/legal/privacy 。

除此之外，本应用不向任何其他方发送你的数据。

本应用可能在你完成整数公里时发送本地通知，通知在设备上生成，不涉及任何服务器。

你可以把记录导出为 GPX 或 JSON 备份文件，并自行选择保存位置或分享对象。导出后的文件由你自己保管。

你可以在本应用中删除单条记录，或在”设置与备份”中删除全部本地记录。
开启过 iCloud 同步的话，iCloud 云盘中的文件不会因为关闭同步而自动删除，你可以在”文件”App 的 iCloud 云盘 → WasHere 中删除。
卸载本应用会删除这台设备上的本地数据。

本应用不面向 13 岁以下儿童，也不会有意收集儿童的个人信息。

如果政策有变化，我们会更新本页面并修改上方的生效日期。

WasHere (“the App”) is an outdoor track recorder. Our principle is simple: your tracks belong to you, and we neither need nor collect them.

No account is required. We don’t ask for your name, email or phone number.
No ads, and no third-party analytics.
We don’t track you, don’t identify you across apps, and don’t sell data.
We run no servers. The developer cannot see your location, tracks or any of your records.

The App uses location to show where you are and to record your activity. Recording starts only after you tap Start and confirm, and stops when you tap Finish.
So that a recording keeps running while the screen is locked, during a call or when you switch apps, the App uses background location once you start recording.
Your tracks, times, distances and elevation are stored only on this iPhone by default.
If you turn on iCloud sync in Settings & backup, records are stored in your own iCloud Drive and synced between devices signed in to the same Apple Account. That data is handled by Apple under its terms and is not accessible to the developer. The files also appear in the Files app under iCloud Drive, where you can view, back up or delete them.

To provide maps and weather the App makes network requests to the services below. These requests go directly from your device, not through us:

Weather (Open-Meteo, open-meteo.com): when looking up weather, the App sends your current coordinates rounded to about 1 km. The request contains no account, device identifier or track. As the service provider, Open-Meteo may see your IP address; see its own privacy information.
Maps (Mapbox, mapbox.com): to display the map, your device requests map tiles for the area you are viewing. Mapbox may collect map-usage information under its privacy policy (for example IP address, device model and OS version, app identifier). See https://www.mapbox.com/legal/privacy .

The App sends your data to no one else.

The App may show local notifications when you complete whole kilometres. They are generated on your device and involve no server.

You can export activities as GPX or as a JSON backup and choose where to save or share them. Exported files are yours to look after.

You can delete a single activity in the App, or delete all local activities in Settings & backup.
If you used iCloud sync, files in iCloud Drive are not deleted automatically when you turn sync off. You can remove them in the Files app under iCloud Drive → WasHere.
Uninstalling the App removes the local data on that device.

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect children’s personal information.

If this policy changes we will update this page and the effective date above.
